York County Council Meeting Information

The Council meets the first and third Mondays of each month beginning at 6pm  in the Council Chambers, Agricultural Building, 6 South Congress Street, York, South Carolina.

Town of Fort Mill Council Meeting The Council meets on the second Monday of each month at 7pm. 

(Also on fourth Monday of month  at 7am for for meetings and workshops as needed)

A support group for breast cancer survivors. Brain Injury Support Group

Thursdays at 6:30-7:30 p.m

HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital, 1795 Frank Gaston Blvd., Rock Hill. The support group is for individuals who have sustained a traumatic brain injury, an acquired brain injury or a stroke and their caregivers.

The Knit Chicks is an informal, fun group for cancer survivors who enjoy knitting and crocheting.  Participants bring their own projects and supplies to work with.  While knitting and crocheting, trading patterns and expertise, attendees get to enjoy each other's company, get mutual support from other cancer patients, and improve their skills all at the same time!  All skill levels are welcome to attend!

This free program teaches beauty techniques to women undergoing treatment for cancer to help them combat the appearance-related side effects of treatment. Techniques on how to cope with skin changes and hair loss using cosmetics and skin care products are also offered.
